What do you guys think about repro rocker panels, just the outer panel on my 71 is bad, inside is fine. Do you feel anyone manufactures a decent quality one or should I plan trying to locate a NOS part.....thanks

Depends on your skills and how much you want to invest in nos and trying to find a set. I believe the newer production of rockers are much better than they used to be, I personally would use aftermarket. I happened to come across a set of nos for my build but it was 325.00 compared to about 50.00 with shipping

Thanks Jeff I will buy from you ! I can't figure out why someone would pay the outlandish prices asked for original ones if you can get the same quality for $18.00 ? Thanks for everyone's imput.

There are some cheap inferior parts out there for sure. Fortunately, there are a couple company's making some really nice, quality stuff for these trucks now.
