93 chevy frying fiel.pumps
Recently bought a truck that had been sitting for a couple of years. Replaced tbe pump and after sitting a few days the pump stopped working. Replaced it again Saturday and after sitting until today it has stopped working again. Help!!

Relay? Short in wiring harness? Bad pumps? Lots of directions to look.

If you're not using ACDelco pumps, then that might be your issue. Most aftermarket pumps are junk.
I would also check all of the wiring associated with the fuel pump as Tom stated. Check the relay, fuses, etc. Are you sure the pumps are dying?

I suspect that the harness plug in is becoming a poor connection at the sending unit. This generation has been known for this with age. I also agree like above stated that aftermarket fuel pumps are usually junk.
