LMC radiator support reviews?

Anyone purchased this part from LMC for a 70 Chevy? I'm in need of one and LMC has the best shipping price. Is this part a good part or is it not great?

Re: LMC radiator support reviews?

I bought one earlier this year from LMC and it looks good to me. Mine is not fully bolted in yet but i don't forsee any problems with it. I believe it is a Triplus product.

Checkout this at Cooper restorations, they have very competitive pricing.

Re: LMC radiator support reviews?

i got one at the shop right now for the customers truck I'm building. It looked fair I guess, but I did have to do some welding on it were the parts were not fully spotted. I think it may have just been the one I got but I took the die grinder and when over a good bit of the spot welds to keep the sharp edges from grabbing me later on but I do that with all the parts. I will say after two coats of high build primer it looks really good. I can't wait to put the black base coat on and the satin clear I think it is gonna be pretty sweet. Depending on the look your going for I could have spent a couple more hours on it or on a different build pretty sure I could have used as is.

Re: LMC radiator support reviews?

I bought a new core support through LMC and it bolted up and matched up beautifully:

Summit Racing I've used a lot before for motor stuff and bushings but I don't for body panels, I try to go with big brand names because of reputation, which LMC has a lot of.

I'll be ordering the part tonight it seems!

Merry Christmas and thank you guys!

Just an fyi most of these vendors are carrying the same branded parts, fitment has gotten a lot better over the years with these after market panels.

I particularly like the top rail of the TriPlus support being smooth rather than crimped up on each side of the radiator like the OE part is. It just looks more finished to me.

Merry Christmas to you
