What color is this?

I may be buying a complete interior minus dash pad. All of it is this color. I do know it is out of a '72, but not sure of color. White, parchment,....?

And with this color door panels, seat, visors, arm rests what color would the dash pad be?

Re: What color is this?

Black most likely and for sure if it has tilt. All tilt trucks had black dash pads from what I have been told.

Those are parchment door panels from a 72 Custom trim level truck. Blue truck above is a Custom Deluxe with scroll on the panels, 1 step up. Any idea what color the truck was originally? Dash pad most likely black, but will let someone else confirm that, not 100% certain w/o a little digging.

no... this stuff was in a storage unit that a buddy bought. It sure is clean! Arm rests are a little dirty, but nothing that won't clean up.

Yes, Parchment. I think the dash pad, column, and steering wheel would be Sandalwood. I think that blue Custom Deluxe did and those parts were replaced in black. That's why the instrument cluster and glovebox door aren't black

My truck has tilt. When I pulled the saddle colored dash pad, It had a production sticker dated June of 72... My truck must be one of those exceptions...

Re: What color is this?

My medium olive/parchment Custom Deluxe truck has tilt.

The column is black, the dash pad (and rubber floor mat) is sandalwood

Nice, that was on c10swapper I think. I was checking it out as well, but I live in CA, so shipping would make it a no go.

We've talked about this "what was which color?" before and there are some bonified exceptions to the rule. It seems to be in '72 only... or seems to me. Also, the color of A/C outlets varied from the norm.

Is the paint to the windshield saddle or black? Did your truck come with carpet? If so, was that saddle or black? My '72 Cheyenne Super K/20 had tilt and A/C. Everything was black... wheel/column, dash pad, A/C outlets, and carpet. I've had '69-'71s with only wheel/column black, dash pad/carpet upholstery color, and outlets body color. If a truck with Parchment interior doesn't have tilt, the black parts would be Sandalwood.
