69 k/10 front leaf springs
My k/10 front leaf springs have a negative arch and the ride is wimpy! They are 2 leaf. Thinking of installing k/20 3 leaf. Wondering if 3 leaf would be a good choice? The Truck has a STAHL utility, overload springs and air bags, so the rear suspension seams ok. Any thoughts? Also I always wondered why my 69 k/10 has c/10 emblems! GOD BLESS YOU ALL-HAPPY TRAILS-HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Re: 69 k/10 front leaf springs
All stock springs will have a negative arch. 3 leaf will swap in just fine.

Re: 69 k/10 front leaf springs
X2 with 57taskforce -but it's likely your springs are old & tired. Does the front end sit lower than the rear? one P/N for K20 front springs (3 leaf) is 22-384 from General Spring, made in Canada, 1,110# rating. There are other weight options.

All K10/20's have C10/20 emblems- no such thing as K10 or K20 emblems. Blazers have K5 emblems- Merry Christmas!

Re: 69 k/10 front leaf springs
I agree with everything said above.
I had a K10 SWB with 3 leaf springs that I used for plowing, worked good. So if you don't have a plow on your truck it may sit a little bit higher & a bit stiffer but no too much. Gary

I've always thought that the c was a reference to the custom trim level as opposed to being two wheel drive but I could be wrong.

Re: 69 k/10 front leaf springs
Thanks 57TF,B.W.72Tiger and CUSTOM10 !!!! I think I will go with the 3 leaf, the STALL utility bed is heavier than stock and since new, the truck seemed weak in the front. Thanks again for the information!
