Rear Upper spring mounts help????
My upper spring mounts are rusted out and wondering if anyone else has tacked this. I can't seem to find replacements. I thought about just cutting out the bad (leaving the support for the bed and tack in a piece of plate). It's not a show truck by no means. Sorry for the upside down photo.

Re: Rear Upper spring mounts help????
Your repair idea should work. I would thoroughly check the frame rail first (after removing the corroded portion of the OE bracket) & ensure there isn't any damage there before plating.
