Heads up SF bay area people !
I was out at the Fairfield Pick-n-Pull this weekend. There's a real nice '71 A/C cab out there for the taking.Minimal rocker rust, floor and corners are good. It's a cheyenne super cab.It really is in very nice condition. You can get it for $140.00! I'd hate to see it get junked.

WOW!!!
I just got back from there, Everything you said was correct. AWESOME A/C cab... where did you see any rust??? LOL. Virgin dash as well. I have no use for it or the ability to get it. But for anyone in ALL of California, it would be worth the trip. There are also 2 other trucks there. A couple 8 luggers, 1 with front Disc, and both have nice sway bars.
Thanks for the tip, i got my speedo cable and cig lighter set up today.

i was out there saturday too, helped a gentleman take the radiator support off that truck and helped another take off the front bumper (i love my battery powered sawzall). the fenders aren't too bad either except for the lower front where the corners were cut off. i took the a-c brackets and power brake booster off it a few weeks ago.
that yard doesn't get many of our trucks but when they do get one, it gets picked clean, fast. the other pick-n-pull yard i frequent gets a lot of our year trucks but there's a guy thats in tight with the manager and gets the real good stuff before the general public has a chance at it.

So THATS where the Power brake booster went... darn you..LOL.. the beds looked good, but no tailgates. Will have to go back to pick them out completely. Did you notice the tranny laying on the ground under it?
