Cheap electric powersteering? Can it be true???? Or do my eyes deceive me?

Ok guys I ran across this video this morning and my wheels are turning so fast that they are smoking.....has anyone heard of this mod on one of our trucks? Looks appealing to me

Pretty sure that's the controller - it says column not included. So it's power steering without the power part, not that useful.

There are retrofit power steering columns available, btw. For Camaro and so on, but GM columns are pretty standard so I imagine it could be made to work on ours.

While I'm not a huge fan of old recirculating ball steering, I'm not feeling any pressure to replace it either... and power assist is only a small part of the equation.

Yes sir ....lol i know it is the controller...the box can be had for 70$ at my pick and pull. I guess regulator old would do for most but i have a z'd frame so i have a slight core support mount to gear box interference and a ls swap making a simple bolt on a little scetchy on mine. So it looks like a reasonable option...i just thought i would share ....😆
