What is the point of telling you? Go to Walker or order from Scotts. They used to have a showroom in Transcona but they moved. I don't think they stock any truck stuff, at least they didnt when i was there a couple years ago.

Here is one for Ontarion's http://www.billstruckshop.com/

But if you have to have the parts shipped to you it might be better buying from a place in another province, save on one tax.

I have dealt with him before. I ordered my adjustable panhard from him for 105$ CAD and I received it fairly quickly, along with it he sent one of his catalogues and a key chain. He is only about 4-5 hours from me so I may get a hold of him when I need more stuff, as long as he caries it.

I aleays check his site for the new trucks he keeps getting in.

I've dealt with Bill also, bought a new front bumper for the 72 Chev and an excellent 68 frame from him. He also gave me quotes on sheet metal parts that were competitive with the U.S. suppliers once you took into account the exchange rate.

Drive out there if you can, but call first, when I went out there the phone never stopped ringing and had half a dozen guys looking for parts, very busy guy.

yeah, Bill is a good guy and he is VERY busy. Like ronh said, everytime you go there, the phone is constantly ringing. Around here, he sort of has a monopoly, because he's the only one around with parts that I know of.

ronh72c10, "Mount Forest", isn't that west of the 400 hwy, on hwy#89??
You're not all that far away from me, if that's the same Mount Forest I'm thinking of

Yeap, that's the Mount Forest I'm near, about 1-1/2 hours from Barrie.

Maybe us Ontarions, there's at least a few of us here, should organize some kind of a meet next spring.

None of the three vehicles in my sig are roadable yet so if you can drive it you're still ahead of me.

'94 F-150 from the "F word" company. I'll admit it...good truck. Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm.
'79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350.

Bill s truck shop gets all my money. He is just a small dealer who is very hands on and he knows his stuff. He is a truck guy, not a secretary answering the phone. You can call him up anytime for information and he will gladly help you in any way. The first time I ordered stuff from him , I told him I would order more later later when I had more money. He told me he d ship it now , and pay me when you can.
He`s a very trusting guy. He never asked for a credit card or anything.
If anybody talks to him, say hello from Darrell in P.E.I.

yup, I got a repro door from him once, he said"take it home, see if it fits, if not , just bring it back" didn't ask for a deposit or anything!

Us Canadians stick together.

My truck is no longer driveable either, so if I can find a bit of extra $$$ this winter I can maybe get a cab and swap the tranny ( my power glide started slipping since it sat for 2 years, it doesn't want to go forward very well but reverse heck it goes like crazy ( yes the fluid is full) but that is ok I have a few other trannys sitting around here.

So if we do get together then I will have to drive whatever car I have at the time, ( currently a 2003 malibu LS) but my 1990 Bonneville SSE just went in the shop today and will get checked in the morning.
