question about wheels off a 97 3/4 ton

I found a deal on some stock 8 lug wheels and tires with center caps from a 1997 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive truck and was wondering if they will fit on my 68 3/4 ton. The tires that are mounted on the wheels are 245/75/16. Does anyone else out there have the newer wheels on their truck? I couldn't pass them up as I only had to give $25 for them so even if they dont fit I know I can get my money back out of them. Thanks in advance for your comments.

they should fit fine. if you already bought them pop one wheel off and test fit that is the only way to really know.

They will fit great. They may be a little tight on the hub center, but on mine the rust was a little thick.
You can buy lugnuts that are also externally threaded for the fake plastic ones to screw on to for the center caps, but they will be pricey. The '97 ones were metric.
