new guy

I've been lurking on this forum for a while now. Looking to start a 69-72 4wd K5 for my next project but I need to buy one first.... I'll be scouring the for sale section and looking for anyone who may having one come up for sale. Ideally it would be a rust free as possible (I know that's everyone's wish...), either a shell roller or a project someone is having to bail on.

I plan to go restomod with it like our 69 Camaro project that can be seen here. http://ls1tech.com/forums/conversion...ld-thread.html

Plans for the K5 would be an LS swap if it doesn't already have a good motor, lifted on 35-37's, possibly 8 lug axels, 4 wheel disc brakes, newer style seats, line x or something similar for the floor and underneath, no carpet. Plain, simple and clean. I plan to run it no top most the time I've already learned a ton from your build threads and plan to continue to learn from you guys wealth of knowledge.

Got one in AL I've looked at that's a roller, not motor, trans, or transfer case, no interior, no top, with a 4" lift. Rocker, floor, front rear quarter rust guy wants $1800 for. Don't think i'm going for it though
