I have some Legend rims that are knockoffs pretty much. I have the ECE conversion spindles on my '69. My wheels are 17x8 with zero offset which is 4.5" backspacing.

ECE sells stock replacement style brakes. I have stock brakes with ECE spindles/springs. my old 17x8's had 4"bs and cleared everything.

Yeah from my understanding, what ece sells is raybestos stuff like rotors, pads, drums. Which probably as close to stock as possible. Granted what I'm going to get is the disc brake conversion kit with 2.5" drop, put stock height springs in front and 4" drop in rear and rebuild all the brakes.

Re: ECE Front Disc Brakes and Torq Thrust Wheels

I have 18x7's on the front of mine with 4.25 backspacing. The truck has an ECE 4/6 drop and i have no issues with that size and they tuck really nice in the fenders. I will post a pic in a few days when the weather clears up...

ECE disc conversion kit with 2 1/2" drop spindles, 2" small block springs in front. 17x8 Legend wheels with 4.5" backspace and 235 55 17 tire. Rear is a DJM flip that netted 7" drop. All 4 shocks are stock length front with rears relocated to the more vertical 2nd position of the leaf spring shock mount. 17x9 with 5" backspace on 275 55 17. Fronts are 27" tall and rears are 29"
