New old guy with a paint problem
Hello all I'm new this morning to the forum. I'm retired and live in Macon Georgia. I bought a cheaply painted blue 65 swb fleetside with a paint code of 15801 on the trim tag. I can't find this anywhere. Pulling back the weatherstripping looks dark red but I don't know if that is primer or not. Any help would be appreciated and thanks for the add.

Re: New old guy with a paint problem
looking up references for 1965 Chevy, it shows that the paint code should start with a WE or possibly a U- but the colors from what i could tell at least started with 51 if there was no letter, oh and custom mixed colors don't count, to many possibilities
Example WE5106 or U5106 Light Red or WE5120 or U5120 Light blue, |

Re: New old guy with a paint problem
I've got the same 15801 on my trim tag, and same dark reddish paint or primer visible in the harder to get to spots, on my '65 Suburban. Any ideas?
