'72 K5 beaters/projects f/s
Well reality has set in and I've accepted the fact that I won't have time or money to fix up my K5s for at least a decade or so, so it's time to cut the noose of blazerholism.
What I have is a 72 Blazer and a 72 Jimmy that I would like to sell. The Jimmy was my daily driver till Sept when I got a pickup. It has typical rust in rocker boxes, bed floor, floorboards and lower doors. Tailgate is also pretty shot. Has 70 chev doghouse and grille ,new outer rockers tacked in and the rest is pretty solid other than some dents here and there. Good running 305,K&N filter, edelbrock performer intake and carb,HEI, th350 with shift kit and B&M shifter, 205 tc, 32" mud terrains on steel 15x10 directionals with 85%+ tread on them , 1 1/2" body lift (prev owner cut 3" lift pucks in half), in black primer with start of a kawasaki green paint job(interior only), optima yellow top battery. Blazer is CST that had factory air (not there now). Floor and dash are solid, rest has rust, bondo, or both. Good running 400sb, th350, 205tc, 33" at's on 15x10 steel wagon wheels(less than 2k on tires). Has lots of wiring problems (needs under dash harness to begin with) rusty windshield frame, doors shot. Started to part it out into the jimmy but still runs and drives. Both have single wall tops, 3.73 gears, posi 12 bolt rears , disc brake dana 44s up front, and clear titles. Both also need windshields(Jimmy's is cracked, Blazers is shattered, all other glass is good), lock-out hubs, and front u-joints. Package deal includes new front floor pans from LMC, lot's of new weatherstriping (not installed), new hinge pin kit, misc other new stuff I can't remember right now, 2 rust free inner fenders, 2 truck doors in decent shape, rust free hood and cowl, 2 fenders in fair shape, square tube aftermarket grille (needs cleaned up), tilt column (still tight!), 2nd gen back seat(blue), and probably more that I can't think of right now. Hell if you get it soon enough I even have a 70 short step (that I've been parting out for mine and my brothers trucks) that goes with it! It's pretty shot though due to a half ass sunroof install that led to windshield frame rust. Basically a frame and vin with title. I'll work on getting pics posted but I'm rather digitally challenged so please bear with me! $2500 for everything. Don't want to part out and would rather not seperate. May take dirtbike or quad in partial trade. Located in northern Kentucky right across river from Cincinnati OH. Email me with any questions at breadley71@msn.com , or post here
