Greg58 from Nebraska

Hello, I just joined because I am thinking of getting into a 67-72 GMC.
I once owned a 1970 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4, that I was the 2nd owner of, loved the truck but started having kids and switched to Suburbans.
We are now on our 7th Suburban a 2007, and I can't get my wife to try anything smaller.
I have always been a car/truck nut, always a GM guy.
I currently own a 95 Trans Am, 95 Cadillac Fleetwood, 67 Pontiac Tempest, 71 Ventura, 87 454 Suburban 2500, 07 GMC 3500 4x4 Duramax LBZ, and a 96 Blazer commuter. The insurance man loves me.
Kids are grown, and I want another truck to mess with, I am attracted to the heavy duties and like the Longhorn type GMCs, and 3/4 ton 4x4s.
Thanks for having me, Greg

Welcome to the forum! I was passing through Nebraska last November, heading home after buying a nice rust-free front clip from a board member in Kansas. Stopped at Carhenge, it was cool.

Thanks, I am on the other end of the state, near Omaha.
One time when my kids were small, we were coming home from the Black Hills and we drove by Carhenge.
Wifey vetoed stopping because she was sick of vacation, and wanted to get home ASAP.

Re: Greg58 from Nebraska

Hello all! I'm Gene in sunny Pensacola, Fl. I joined the forum because I will be looking for tips, parts and suggestions while working on my 72 GMC K-1500 short bed. I've read some post in the past, all seemed like good honest, no arguing or fussing responses. That is what I'm looking for! Look forward to hearing from several members as I get started!
