Are '67 doors one year only?

Hi all,

New member to the site but not a new member to these trucks! Had several over the years but this is my first '67. A thread in FAQ clued me in to a bunch of '67 only features one being the outside door handles. Is the door itself different to accept these handles? '67 only?

Thanks,

Steve weim55 Colorado

Re: Are '67 doors one year only?

I believe it's just the door handles, not the door. The angle of the screws that hold the door handle are different then the 68-72 door handles. If I'm correct the one yr only doors are just the 72's. The 67-71 doors are all the same.

You may hear from other members with more concrete info.

Just small differences like CUSTOM/10 mentioned. The vent window handles are different than the others also, but the doors will all interchange.

Re: Are '67 doors one year only?

I think the 67 doors were different inside which is why they had their own handles. They still interchange, but 67 handle goes on a 67 door.

'67 doors are different where the handle bolts on.
