It is a vented cap suitable for 1970 Series 10 thru 30 and many other 1960's and 1970's applications.

OT: Anyone offer a description for E.E.C.? (Evaporative Emission Control)??? It might mean a vapor (charcoal) canister, not sure.

Sorry, I'm confused, which happens frequently. I was looking for an original gas cap on my 69 custom but I've found two different type caps with the same part number. Which one is correct or are both correct depending on some arbitrary assembly line supply house?
I'm looking at yours and another that has an indented ring in the center: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=727388 Both appear to be the correct number but look very different. Which is correct? Cheers, Nathan |

It is a good number for a 69, all I see is an exception with body side molding or a 30 gallon tank. Other than that I am no help to you.
