Bed Side Tool Box Latch Mechanism

Hey Guys,

I'm lucky enough to have a bed side tool box that is in relatively good condition. Unfortunately, the latching mechanism has dissappeared (lock cylinder and all) at some point during the trucks previous ownership. Here is a thread with some examples:

I know there aren't any reproductions for this part. Does anyone know of a workaround, source or have some spare parts available for purchase?
