292 Engine Complete 1966
292 engine from a 1966 1/2 ton truck. This engine is from a restoration shop where the engine was being replaced with a V8, and reported to run good before removal. The engine is very complete, including starter and flywheel. Price is $400. Engine needs to be picked up.

A few more photos of parts. I believe starter has correct date code.

Close-up photos of some areas, of the engine. The last photo shows the original orange head gasket.

Re: 292 Engine Complete 1966
I did not hear the engine run, purchased from a restoration shop doing resto on a 66', where new owner wanted a V8. The rest shop told me it ran good as they moved truck around before starting restoration.
Reported to be a local farm truck in eastern KY, one owner??? Let me check into shipping, I can likely put it on a pallet. Possible ride back to Phoenix ,AZ, next week??? and then maybe???ride back to Southern Calif. ( really not sure about this leg). Will need to know soon, to see if can get on Phoenix ride.
