Thumbs up Re: Need to ID the correct handle for factory overdrive in a '67

I don't have any pictures of my old transmission with over drive but it was a handle like the E brake but had overdrive written on it. I think it was chrome also instead of the black plastic.

If I knew now what I didn't know back then about these trucks I'd have a bunch of old stuff.I gave away the transmission and frame for $100.00!

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

You are correct it was chrome on the 67's. Ive had a 67 and a 69, 67 chrome and 69 black plastic.

Found a pic of the 69 not the 67, sorry.

I have a chrome handle out of a '63 car. Hoping the cable will be long enough for the truck. Surprised the overdrive 3 speed was available all the way to '69 !? Thanks for the info!

Re: Need to ID the correct handle for factory overdrive in a '67

I need to install my cable in my 67 C10. Can anyone please post a photo of the where the cable exits the cab and where it passes the shift linkage?
