Window fix, need help please.
My 63 C-10 drivers side window when cracked fully up needs to close about another 3/8 inch. The glass is original glass and so is door and all components.
I included pics but its hard to see the top of window that needs to go up another 3/8 inch. is there some sort of adjust that needs to be done? Thanks for the help! |

Re: Window fix, need help please.
I found that on mine the lower channel was hitting the felt wipers so I took a heavy plastic clip tool that has the angled end and slightly bent the edge where the felt attaches just enough to clear the channel only where it was touching.

Re: Window fix, need help please.
I am having a similar problem only my window is going up all the way. The problem is that the channel is going in between the felt wipers and when it does it pushes on the door and causes the mettle on the outer door skin right below the window to push out a little. Normally I would not be to concerned about this but right after I had the truck painted the paint started to crack in that spot. I had that cracking fixed by the painter but am worried that it will happen again.
Is the channel supposed to go in between the felt wipers? |

Re: Window fix, need help please.
I had the same problem. Just do what CRUZN66 says, it should fix it.
