where to find axle code info?

i know that on our trucks there is an axle code stamped into the top of one of the axle tubes, on the rear end. can anyone tell me where to find info on what each axle code means? is there a listing somewhere so i can know what to look for when i go junk yarding?

On the 1967 chart the c14 is actually c10. Pictures of the code locations on some of the rear ends are shown in posts #8 & #19
