Lost lights out back?

I went to move my 71 today and saw the my headlights, front markers and dash lights were all I had. No tail, brake or rear markers. I removed my rear bumper.per for painting but it had no wires connected to it. Has this happened to you all? I'm imagining that I'll have to dig out the test light but being as I lost only rear lights, any likely culprits?

Re: Lost lights out back?

Most likely bad ground. ground the box to the frame and they might come back. also check the plug connector back by the bumper you removed. might not be plugged in all the way..

Yes it has happened to me. New puppy chewed my wires in two.
