Anyone have gear vendors on a th400 short wheel base 2wd stock height truck?
I am at the point of my build where I must decide if I'm going to do this or not. If you have one was there any difficulties with it the all? Being the truck Is short did you have to change any pinion angles or anything like that ? Any driveline issues at all? Did you have to move your transmission brace and of so did your e-brake need modification then? Thanks, Rod.

I knew a guy who had one on a shortbox ford and he just lowered the trans crossmember to help out with the driveline angle.

I think the hot rod muscle truck has a 400/GV and a 9 inch. Maybe there is a write up on that someplace.

Sorry just realized I wasn't on the square body side but it shouldn't be too different.

Nick from Gear Vendors here. We have done countless C10 installs and there are no fitment issues. Bolt it up, wire it, and cut the driveshaft. The driveshaft angles should always be checked though adding the GV unit does not change your engine angle, if the truck's setup properly now nothing will change.
Here is a link to a famous C10 Stacy David's "Copperhead" which ran a TH400 / Gear Vendors. http://www.gearvendors.com/classictrucks-oct05.html
