Re: auto and stick shifter handles the same??

According to Lmctruck.com catalog page 141 the answer is yes

Part number 34-0714 $20

But If you actually are trying to match to a 1969 (remember sometimes you might have a 1968 that is actually a 1968.5 - if so then no).

The $20 seems reasonable because that shift lever part would be hard to fab.

I do recommend getting the little nylon or polymer bushing that snaps over the ball end of the shift lever - without it you'll have sloppy shifter syndrome.

I think I found the little bushing at Truck Shop in I think Orange County Ca - they sell the repro gauge panels.

Re: auto and stick shifter handles the same??

Just saw this page in truckshop.com catalog.. looks like they are trying to show how the '69 version of the shift lever differs though I cannot tell from the photo if that shift lever tip is convex or concave.

But the answer to your original question appears to still be yes.

I bought a repop lever from a nearby vendor and actually had to open the hole up in the shift tube so the ball tip would go in. They may vary a little.
