70 inner grill assembly help
I've gone through many old post but still need help. When I try to put it with the outer grill, the top rows have about a 2 inch gap to where they are suppose to attach to. I know it's something simple but just can't figure it out. The bottom rows and middle row of screws line up. I just can't figure out the top. Can anyone help?

Take out screws and get it to sit right before attaching.

The screws are not it. It is just setting in place

I remember when I replaced mine I had to wiggle it in place, it sits partly on the outer grill.

I checked mine and it partially sits on the outer grill above the center band,which has the word CHEVROLET.
