FS: '68 step side fender with spare cutout
I have for sale a decent condition step side fender with spare tire cutout and spare mount. It is white and been repainted at least once in its life. There is a small spot of bondo in the front just above the step. The edge where it mounts to the bedside is in pretty good shape.
I have pictures available but it is hard to load them over the phone. $SOLD patch panel, rest of fender gone. Last edited by indymachinist; 02-15-2017 at 07:28 AM. |

Re: FS: '68 step side fender with spare cutout
Curt,
Is this fender for a shortbed or longbed? The cutout area is different depending whether it is for a shortbed or longbed. Thanks, Dave

Re: FS: '68 step side fender with spare cutout
I pulled the little patch piece off the back of the fender. That is what it looks like. The rest of the back and the mounting flange is in pretty good shape. This was a Tennessee truck so it didn't see salt anywhere near as bad as trucks up here. It has dirt caked in a lot of areas though so I assume that is why the one spot rusted is because it was probably left with dirt against it. So.... any interest in this? |

Looks like there is no interest here.
Last chance. $80 or it goes to the scrap yard. |

I'm interested in the spare tire carrier if you would be willing to sell it separate and also ship it if it will work for a 65? Thanks, Ken

I don't know if it will work for a 65 or not. I could put that in a box and ship it if you want though. $50

Re: FS: '68 step side fender with spare cutout
I need a patch panel for the area under the spare tire. Basically from the line just below the spare tire recess to the step area. I know urs has been repaired but still might work 4 me, especially if u r going to toss it.
Appreciate any help. Scott

Re: FS: '68 step side fender with spare cutout
It looks awfully similar with extra reinforcement over the bed?

Cutting the front lower section off of the fender for ScottH so the whole thing is no longer for sale. Anyone else need a piece cut off before the rest gets scrapped?
