I have an ebrake set from pedal to connector that attach to the cables coming out of the rear. Let me know if interested and I can get some pictures.

Re: 72 jimmy Help IDing rear diff disc brake rearend

There are many different options/solutions for 14 bolt rear disk conversions. Just keyword search "14 bolt disc" for starters. Much has been written on this board and elsewhere on the topic. For bolt-in axle rearends, I wouldnt hesitate using a pinion caliper system, otherwise the modern pickup truck "drum-in-hat" systems are better than the old Cadillac caliper systems.

Re: 72 jimmy Help IDing rear diff disc brake rearend

..the factory 14 bolt drums are not bad, but if you wish to keep rear disks and full floating axles, it may be cheaper to just swap the whole rear out to a more modern 10.5" rear with factory integrated rear discs & drum-in-hat parking brake. Heres a list from the pirate4x4 board that someone offered those applications;

Nbs 1999 -to- (pre June) 2010 chevy 2500hd-3500hd 6.0 ltr gas trucks are standard 10.5 Aam ff 14 bolt. Post June have larger lug pattern

Chevy 2500 avalanches and 2500-3500 vans with 6.0s optional and 8.1s standard as well.

2500 suburbans had a optional 14 bolt ff in 99-2010 as well with the 6.0 and 8.1

Chevy 2500 non hd have 9.5 sf with disc brakes as well as the 1500hd and standard 2500 suburban

99-2010 Chevy 2500hd-3500hd with 8.1 and duramax have 11.5 disc brake rears unless ordered otherwise

Re: 72 jimmy Help IDing rear diff disc brake rearend

Sorry, I didn't get it pulled off this weekend. Went to the junkyard Saturday and it rained Sunday. I think this coming weekend is going to be decent, 100 for everything and it should fit in a medium flat rate for 15 shipped please let me know if still interested before I pull it.

14 bolt with C20 front calipers on the back. Pretty common swap from what I hear.
