Clutch Peddal Bush
Last night when I tried to reassemble my brake and clutch assembly I could not get the last plastic bush in.
1. And I fitting it correctly ie from the outside? 2. Assuming I am anyone got any tips on how to fit it without damaging it? 3. I suppose I know the answer to this but I'll ask anyway, are these bushes really necessary? (I don't suppose they would be there if not) I'm having to order replacements as I have damaged this one (going to order 4 for spares). This is where its hard and frustrating as it will take about 2 weeks get them over. |

Re: Clutch Peddal Bush
The more I look at this the more I wonder if I'm fitting it in the wrong place. I could have been sure Id taken pictures of the bushes as they came out but I cant find them if I did.
Need to go back out to the garage to look at it again, but it will have to wait until tomorrow. |

Re: Clutch Peddal Bush
You probably have the bushings mixed up there are 4 bushings 2 for the brake pedal and 2 for the clutch ...the brake bushings are 1" the clutch are 3/4" look here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=506026
at post #10 for pic Also I would install bushing then the shaft I would install all new once I was in that far BUT where you are at and in the interest of time IF I had no choice that bushing is still usable IMO |
