Speed minder cluster

Proud new recipient of a speed minder cluster. I think I'm missing parts however. Does anyone have information on what's missing and where to get it, how to wire it up? This is what I'm starting with.

Thanks

Re: Speed minder cluster

What did your cluster come out of? I think it would be cool to find one, but there's another board member who could really use one.

Re: Speed minder cluster

Looks to be intact except for the wire harness and buzzer. Harness is the easy part. Buzzers are expensive and hard to find. I ordered a couple buzzers from eBay china and hooked 1 up in my corvette. Not the same buzz as original but works. I think you can order a harness from a corvette or camaro catalogue. Fairly cheap. I lead to power one lead to the stud on the back of the cluster and plug in the buzzer.

Talking Re: Speed minder cluster

If your not looking to make it factory correct use a seat buzzer and wires with spade connectors and it will work just fine as long as the little bitty needle on the speedo hasn't broke off. Don't force the needle with the cable to set it either.
I been looking for one my self. Nice find.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

So what's the difference between a 67 dash vs the other ones. Just curious.

Usually 67 just had "wiper" on them and 68 had "wiper-washer", 69 deleted the choke.

Did the harness for the speed minder come with it? Is it available aftermarket? How about the buzzer?

Thanks

The tach harness is an original one and was included with the cluster as was the buzzer. I don't know if the buzzers are reproduced but the tach harnesses are.

Yea I've got a few tach harnesses, I was referring the the harness in the bag. It looks like it went to the speed minder portion.

Yes the the buzzer harness is available as the buzzer but the buzzer is expensive.
I don't care about factory correct I just want it to function. Seat buzzer will work just fine

Y'all are killin me with this.
NOW I'm going to be looking for one of these EVERY time I go looking for parts. Thanks a lot!
Finding one will rank up there with the day that I found my Tach dash cluster, 19 years ago.

Like me I shouldn't have sold the one I had out of my 71. I held it for a couple of years and sold it!
Myrtle beach and Charlotte both coming up. I'll be on the look out for sure!
