4 Link - bagged 65

Hi
Changed my mind. Im now going with parallel 4 link on my bagged 1965 duramax c10 instead of trailing arms. Problem is that the frame is not straight in the rear. So it is difficult to align 4 link bars along the frame. How have you guys done? Do you have the bars at an angle next to the frame or parallel to "drive" direction? Added a picture that show my issue..

Re: 4 Link - bagged 65

Why dont you make the bracket stick out further so it can be straight?

Yes, it can be done. The bracket are pre-made though (Thorbros).
I've also been thinking of building a complete new rear frame that is straight. The frame turns look really strange with the C-notch, but would like to avoid it right now.

Mote thoughts?

/Thomas

Re: 4 Link - bagged 65

Flip those bars over and let them run even along the frame. They will be fine. The angle will ad a little triangulation that helps absorb the side load. The NoLimit setup is done this way and works really well.
