WTB Cast Iron Intake

I'm looking for a correct cast-iron intake for a 67-72 with a 350 and spread-bore quadrajet. Please PM me what you have.

Re: WTB Cast Iron Intake

I can get one locally casting #3919803 I think it is 67-69. What do you think it's worth. Probably the big expense will be shipping.

My guess is any intake with an SB pattern will work and is in the nearest scrapyard. Pretty much any 4 barrel SBC up to the mid-80s.

This is an interesting thought. My truck is a 1970. What casting number should I look for? I doesn't "really" matter, but if I'm gonna buy one anyway, I might as well buy a 1970 casting. Part of the issue here is that I don't know what I'm looking for, so if anybody has a casting number, that would be helpful.

Having said that, I'd like to delete as much of the smog crap as possible, so if there is a more "clean" intake, that's really what I'm after, regardless of the year or casting number.

I have this one, it's a correct 72 with factory thermostat housing, has been hot tank and bead blasted then painted correct with Chevy high temp paint.

Yours for the low price of $50 plus shipping.

Re: WTB Cast Iron Intake

Thanks for all of the replies. I may have to hold off for now as I think shipping is going to be the tough part unless someone here knows of a way to ship one of these for a decent price?
