Upper A frame question
Where the upper A frame attaches to main truck it has two larger nuts on each end that has a grease fitting in each of them The rubber boot is missing on one of them. Can I just remove the nut with grease fitting and slide a new rubber boot on or do I have remove the whole A frame to do it? Thanks for your help..

Re: Upper A frame question
I don't think there will be enough clearance to slide a new rubber seal on the shaft through the control arm. I would take the upper arm off and replace the whole shaft (unless it's been recently done). New shaft kits are pretty inexpensive. Use lots of penetrating fluid on the steel bushings, if they're rusted in and you wipe out the threads you might be looking at replacing the control arm too.
