Re: Possible Vintage Find

State of the art in it's day...That unit and others similar are why "Custom Camper" and "Camper Special's" were factory production runs...Very Cool!

Thumbs up Re: Possible Vintage Find

I would bet GM would like to know about this. That would be a great camper to have and restore it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I am feeling the distance pains... Does anyone know a slide-in shipper? I have been unable to find one.

Re: Possible Vintage Find

Tommy - thanks for the shipper info, gotta make some calls. Just to be clear, it's not for the camper that was listed here - trying to get a feel for shipping one from Colorado to TX. Maybe. I REALLY need to get eyes on in person - seller is not being very helpful... Hesitant to buy sight unseen, it could be rotted out and stink despite how it looks in pics.
