WTB K30 running gear
Hey all I am looking for an K30 running gear as I am considering buying a 2x4 and converting it. All I would need would be the frame, axles, transfer case, transmission and all associated cross members. No rust through preferred.

If you have a trailer there are a couple in the Flint MI area. Use craigs list, Flint, and hit surrounding areas, include Detroit, Port Huron and they will pop up. Mostly dually. Non-dually K30's are not common even here.
oh, and there are some nice ones for sale on there in the Trucks section... out wet... way out west. Or I'd have one.

The trucks I am considering for conversion are both Regular cabs, dual rear wheel, gear ratio doesn't really matter as long as they aren't like 5.20:1 or 2.17:1.

Are you still looking? I have a few cucvs I'm going to be cutting for parts, I know 1 has a clean frame.
Srw, dana 60, 14bolt ff, 456 gears. I can take the body off and haul a complete rolling chassis with trans and tcase, to Detroit might be able to go farther pending $$. Call me text me pm me, whatever (906) three six 1 seven 5 two eight Thanks Matt |
