Tach/Vac/Speedminder dash
I bought this several years ago and know nothing about it so am selling as is?
No warranty or guarantee expressed or implied. I honestly don't remember if I bought this off of E bay or through a board member. Bought this to put in my 1969 but have since sold the truck so am wanting to move this. $425 shipped and insured CONUS It has a new reproduction black bezel. The speed minder cable is missing the nut on the inside if tin that holds it in. It has a NOS knob that I bought off a board member here some time back. It also comes with aftermarket wiring harness for speed minder. I do not have the buzzer that goes to it. Ron

Re: Tach/Vac/Speedminder dash
congrats on a great buy.
i have the same set up i pieced together several years ago with all NOS guages and i paid more for the speedwarning speedometer head alone. i don't recall the total i spent on the entire cluster but i know it was over $1200.00- my wife at the time was ready to kill me. maybe thats why she is my EX-wife now,LOL.

Re: Tach/Vac/Speedminder dash
A1, I need a buzzer if you run across an extra. I have one of these dashes but did not get the buzzer or any of the wiring. I know you can buy the tack wiring aftermarket.
Thanks, |

Re: Tach/Vac/Speedminder dash
Ron, that was a great price on a very hard to find dash cluster! I realize that the speed warning cluster has been sold and that you had stated from the start that you didn't know anything about it in the beginning of your F/S thread but figured FWIW, I would add a little info from our past experience with these speed alert dash clusters. Your dash cluster cable was not missing a nut, the pictured adjustment cable with both ends threaded is not correct, your pictured cable is a retrofitted corvette trip odometer reset cable. The OE truck speed warning needle adjustment cable just pressed/clipped into the back of the dash cluster tin via several small metal fingers on the cable mounting clip that was built into the cable, here are a few pictures. Re: Tach/Vac/Speedminder dash
Ron, I received the Tach/Vac/Speedminder dash cluster and wanted to thank you publicly for doing such a great packing job. also for keeping me informed and up dated on tracking and shipping with the little UPS glitch we had. It was a pleasure dealing with you and I am very pleased with my purchase. Steve
