Ready to ROll!
Just excited to get my "New" dump on the road. I thought I would show the before and after pics. Now don't all you guys who know what to look for give me grief. I did it in my backyard with the bumble bees landing in the paint and after all it is a work truck.

I have seen a few things of yours for sale that I thought about buying for it but I need some one out here on the east coast man. It really sucks seeing all you guys and gals out there with these beautiful trucks. It makes me want to move out west. I found one that is pretty darn good for around here though. |

The part I had the most fun with was drilling out all the bondo from the holes for the hood letters and buying a new emblem for the grill. I know it is a work truck but why anyone would want to get rid of the hood letters is beyond me. I mean its not like the last owner was going for the sano look or anything. LOL Thanks for the comments guys. I know I did not get all the body lines perfect and up close you can see a few scatches and runs but with the way I use my trucks I will need to be re-painting it every couple years anyway. Thanks for the compliments, I really appreciate it coming from you guys with these beautiful and straight as an arrow trucks. Some day I will have something that I can baby which I do plan on eventually but for now I gotta have something that I can work. Thanks again for the compliments. I really appreciate it.

It is the original hood but some one had welded in some new sheet metal along the nose and nixed a couple of holes and just bondoed over the rest. I had to clean it up and once I was done smoothing everything out I re drilled from under the hood up through the access holes for the large posts but the tricky part was the smaller posts because I had to guess and drill down through from the outside. They all came out prety straight though I think. I am going to go back and clean up a little under the nose though because I didn't realize that you could see so much of it until I got the grill back on.

I bought letters off Wes but couldn't get them straight and I chickened out before I drilled! Wes took em back and mailed me something else! He's a good guy that Wes! Good Job
