Purchases some chrome baby moons in craigslist. Had to set them next to the truck for kicks. Need wheel spacers to clear box.

Re: 1951 long bed build
Looking Good , Nice project . How long has it taken from field to now ?
Two things I'd shorten the steering column and raise the seats so you are looking out of the center of the windshield . Keep on Trucking'

Re: 1951 long bed build
Haha that all dependa on preference and being im 6'5 i dont need to raise the seat im actually seeing part of the sun visor in my vision and the steering colomn could shorten a hair but it feels good if i go much lower i hit my legs on the wheel when i sit in it. I started working in october but had to stop for a bit when i wrecked the bike.

Ok, ok, whatever you say! I'm only 5'-10" (on a good day anymore). If you're THAT big you can do whatever you want!

Re: 1951 long bed build
Well got tranny lines and coolant lines hooked up and after starting it and letting it run have no leaks. I did have to fab a tee for piping on heater core due to the s10 factory radiator is where one of the heater core lines ran. I ended up using a 1965 mustang radiator with internal tranny cooler and electric fan setup.
