How much work to make 73 buckets work in 72?

I have a guy looking for 72 blazer bucket seats and brackets. I have a set of 73-74 buckets with brackets. I know they will sit you up a little higher, but has anyone done this swap and made it work? How much work and results?

Seat back foam needs to be modified to look like 71-2 style.brackets are another story...may be able to cut them down,i have never tried since the early brackets fit the same on the 73-76 seats

PUI says the foam is the same 71-75. It is what I used for my buckets.

The stands are an inch taller but could be fabricated to be shorter.

Is it basically a bolt in deal, but just sit up higher? These are the earlier seats that look the same as the 72s so the bracketry is my main concern.
Thanks.

I'm not all that tall. I'd probably be better off with '73 brackets...an upgrade for me

I would believe the 73 bracket would be lower.
For the gas tank step in the floor?
