My 99 Tahoe needs new radiator, which to buy?

Need a new radiator for my 99 Tahoe. Got an all metal one from 1800 radiator for my 74 c10 few years ago that's solid. But they are closed now at least the one by my house. Which is a decent replacement without breaking the bank? Saw the sticker on my radiator that's on there now and it's a Delphi 1220. Plastic and aluminum I presume. Is that factory?

That is an original radiator. What is you issue with the radiator?

69gmc, it is leaking and if this is plastic and aluminum most places say they won't fix them. It is aluminum right?

Re: My 99 Tahoe needs new radiator, which to buy?

If it appears that it is leaking from around the large inlet or outlet tubes on the side tanks for the engine cooling I have found that taking a set of channel locks and tightening it up has cured the problem for me in the past. Give it a shot before you pull the radiator.

I see that rock auto has a good price on OE AC delco radiators, and you may want to take it to a radiator shop and inquire what they think. it might just need new tanks, i don't know how much that would cost. Good luck!
