Firewall Pad

Any experience installing?
Is it carboard with jute?
How do clips hold in place?
One I received looks chessy

They are kinda cheesy. Cardboard with jute backing. They install with plastic push in fasteners that should have come with it. I can't remember how many there are tho.

The clips are really ribbed plugs with a large mushroom head. They have a neat little installation tool you can buy for it, biggest thing I can tell you is when you get yours, work the factory creases a bit till it bends easier. Also grease the rib a bit (Helps push them through.

So there should be holes in the firewall that these push clips hold onto correct

Yes, the pad will come with the holes prepunched and they should line up with the holes in your firewall. Unless the PO closed them.
