1957 Chevy 3100 Wheels
I am by NO MEANS a wheel guy, more of an engine man, so I need some help.
I want to replace the stock tires and wheels with new, I think they are called rally wheels. Anyway, see pic attached, and where should I start looking and what do I ask for? I have no idea other than it has 6 lugs. THANKS IN ADVANCE! Jim |

Re: 1957 Chevy 3100 Wheels
Which look are you after based on the pictures you posted? The original look or the rally wheel look?

Re: 1957 Chevy 3100 Wheels
not sure those are rally wheels, they look more like a rally style hubcap and a chrome beauty ring on a steel wheel
wheelvintiques.com has 6 lug rally wheels, rally wheels have the 5 slots unfortunately only available in chrome truk has wheelvintiques steel wheels i bought beauty rings but decided they weren't the look i wanted, pm me if interested

Could be truck rallys.

Re: 1957 Chevy 3100 Wheels
I'm not a fan of the Ralleye wheels. Some Wheel Vintiques smoothies with a chrome center cap is about as cool as it gets.
US Wheel has a "Rat Rod" series that is similar to the Detroit Steel look, which is cool. |

Re: 1957 Chevy 3100 Wheels
Car Rallys never came from the factory for six lugs, only the truck style as JJ posted - and obviously the look is entirely different.
BUT, you can now buy repop Rallys with five AND six hole patterns as well as 14, 15, 16, 17 and 20" diameters, I believe. You should also know (if you don't already) they can be installed with conventional sombrero center caps, smaller derby center caps, and police caps with and without the Chevrolet bow tie.

Check the Summit website if you like those style wheels. They are not expensive and I like them on a TF. You can get a package deal at Summit with the wheels, tires mounted and balanced, and free shipping.

Re: 1957 Chevy 3100 Wheels
My truck had 6 lug truck rallys from a 1980s truck when i bought it. you could look for a used set on craigslist , paint them, and get new center caps and beauty rings on ebay if needed
