500 Cadillac swap!!

Wanting to put a 500ci cad in my 84 3/4 ton 4x4. Currently it has a 350 that went boom! Anyone have any experience in this swap?

Welcome aboard!! I've been here a while and i remember a few references to a 500 caddy engine. Try the search box at the top and click on the 67-72 chevy box to initially narrow your searches to this forum. The 500 would give you the torque and then some! I would source a 1970 or older to get the best compression and power. Good luck and keep us posted on your caddyrolet!

My hopes is to get a 70-72 they say they are the best. The torque is what I want. Will be pulling hay and cattle trailers pretty regularly. Cattle traile is 32' and gets pretty heavy when loaded full.
