Kids and cars

Thought I'd post a couple of pics of my kids working on my truck to (a) encourage other people to get their kids involved, and (b) see if anyone else has "kids working on your truck" photos to share.

Start 'em young! Girls too!

Re: Kids and cars

And the crew helped me pull the 472. My daughter was actually really helpful by running the jack up so I could guide the engine out. Garrett was just happy to have the cool helmet on.

Re: Kids and cars

My boys and daughter enjoy helping "working" on cars and trucks. They love to ride in the orange truck and go to shows. They have their own rides for at shows too. I really have to watch the youngest boy. I can't leave a tool laying around other wise he'll have it some where working on something.

Here's a shot of my son helping me build an engine.

Here is another of him putting an engine together for his car.

Re: Kids and cars

I wish I would have taken more pictures of my son an I in and under the truck over the years. I bought it when he was six weeks old, so he doesn't know anything different. Now he's 25, a manager of an auto parts store, and is an ASE certified mechanic. it runs deep in the blood

Thats a great pic.
Now that you have the 472 Caddy pulled....crate it up and send it to me if you aren't using it...I'd love to have that motor in my truck...lol.

All Good

Re: Kids and cars

I don't have any pics of them working on the truck, but they make a great clean up crew
