Dana 44 bearing nut wrench
I find a lot of companies claiming their socket will work on a Dana 44, but investigating I find they don't. 1965, Dana 44-5f, 19 spline. As close as I can measure it looks as the socket splines need to be 1 1/2" apart. Not sure about the Lisle 27250 as the thickness of the outer rim may keep it from fitting into the space around the nut. Anyone know a socket that works?

Re: Dana 44 bearing nut wrench
if the outer diameter is too big ?? have a machinist turn the od down ? i have several sockets like that ! some of the original chevy dealers sockets was a thin wall and broke in the shop ! i asked them & was told that!
