Little steps
I guess we have all been there with our trucks where things just won't go fast enough. Sometimes just little trival things get the spark back in. I got my replacement wheels cleaned up, painted and today I mounted the tires. I was so sick of looking at those 33 yrear old rusted pieces of %&^$.
Anyways she fired up;then the son and I cruised with our new wheels that we worked on. Those baby steps sure do help

Closer view. Old American racing white spokes, with the center caps from the 88-98 Chevy trucks. Sure glad they made those lug nuts that allow them to fit like stock.

The plan is for it to be a bright white color....close to the color of the rims.

Thanks all...
Meathead...the "BOSS!" don't like it...Looks like an ugly old farm truck. I keep telling here it is a farm truck just without the farm. Final color is still up in the air, like so many things. Dinnut. The lights would have been in, but I have to pull the front off again to do a few more things. Other wise that and the headlights and the Camino bumber would have been on already so I could drve it on the street (legally )

72c10...is that duct tape on the rear tire a "repair", or did it just happen to find its way onto the tire?....just curious

Oh BTW, if any of you read my other post about the tires that held air for over 12 years, see the picture above, they are on the front of the truck, on my Cragar S/S rims that I'm going to try to get powdercoated before spring.

Hey Bill, where did you find those lug nuts that hold the center caps on and fit the stock wheel studs?

I got mine from Stockton Wheel. They are not listed on the site, but I called and ordred them. 7/16" innner thead...Metric on the outer side.
The center caps and nuts were aquired in swap meet and I found a site that sells them too. I don't remember the link though (I'm at work now). The six lugs are harder to find in the new style caps.
