Re: bucket seats
Car seats just flat don't work in the long run unless maybe you use like 63 Impala super sport seats. Nothing with a high back will be that comfortable or look right.
Later truck buckets maybe out of an early 90's Silverado. Or look at early 90's Dodge Grand Caravan Buckets or captains chairs. 4 bolts that you have to take out from under the van to take them out and the stands can be removed or modified. Pretty staight and somewhat thin back that lets you slide the seat back for leg room. Main thing is you don't want a high back that leans back like the mullet Camaros have that were popular (and somewhat wrong) swaps in trucks and rods a few years ago as the lean back puts the seat way too far forward and takes up you leg room and car guys point and snicker when they see the seats in a truck.

Re: bucket seats
I have buckets out of a '67 Chevelle in my '55 second. They fit well and are comfortable. However, now my truck only seats 2, When I take my grandaughters for ice cream, only one at a time.....and I have three ! .

Re: bucket seats
The Jeep seats on sale would work but after 173 bucks each a guy still has to spring for having new upholstery on them to go with what the master plan is. Still they are Highbacks and high backs just look too 70s/80s in these trucks.
