.
Not! Straight truck,,, but I don't see it. I have more ingenuity and customization in my front fenders then he has in his whole truck. . . Makes mine worth $400k,,,and it's not even finished yet!!.. . Real news,,, just hard to believe!!.. .

Re: Barrett-Jackson Lot 681
His buddy bought it legally and then he had to give the excess cash back. I knew of a guy who had his friends do a bidding war on Motor Homes, Fifth Wheels, and Camper Trailers. He would buy em at the salvage auctions, fix em up and Ebay away they went.

Re: Barrett-Jackson Lot 681
Well there was obviously something funny going on with this sale. Hopefully we can find out the real whole backstory on this.

Re: Barrett-Jackson Lot 681
I happened to see it happen real time also - almost fell out of my chair. And so did the crowd as well - once the bid started rolling, all the folks that love to see other people spend money were cheering like a bunch of hens. I just don't get it. And, unless he had TWO buddies colluding to drive up the price, one of em would've owned it long before $200K. I completely get that it's a full hot rod and meticulously done with its LS3 and detailing and the engineering behind it - and I don't doubt for a second he has a lot of time and $ in it. A LOT. It is very, very well done (you should've seen the BJ chassis cam!). But, if someone actually did buy it legit for $200K, he got taken to the cleaners. Without a doubt, proof of the statement "it's worth it if someone will pay it"... Just crazy. On the other hand, if it had curly tow hooks, this would all make sense....

Re: Barrett-Jackson Lot 681
I guess if CG is wondering if a black interior would hurt resale, this should answer his question
