Re: WTB RPO E81 bed pieces

Are you talking the pieces that hook to the bedsides (sections) or any piece?

I'm in the middle of redoing a bed and will have to recreate a majority of the pieces due to excessive rust. I'm using the original pieces as templates for the new pieces. I'm in search of a bead roller for the outer lip of the pieces that'll be recreated. Don't think it'll be too difficult??????

Things to keep in mind, cross-sills are different (I didn't know that) and I'm lucky that the rear and front floor pieces are in great shape.

Thank Mike

Any of the pieces working on possibly reproducing them.

Re: WTB RPO E81 bed pieces

I'll have to see how successful I am! Except for the ones around the wheel well, I've already shortened the other pieces. I'll shoot you a note when I post some on my build thread. May be another few weeks. I won't be able to reproduce the from and back of floor pieces, that's way above me. Mike

Re: WTB RPO E81 bed pieces

Big Port Jimmy 6, I've posted some pic's of some E81 bed pieces that I'm creating for my LWB to SWB Fleetside bed floor. Page 5 is where it begins. If you can't find the replacements, I would just take your pieces to a someone that can recreate them for you in your area. It really isn't that difficult; I've never done anything like this, but I really wanted a SWB fleetside wood bed. I'm gonna have to figure out how to emboss some of the overlapping pieces. Thanks Mike
