That's right. Take 'em out and enjoy them! I'd like to take you up on the invite. There's a camping pictures thread in 4 Wheel & Off Road board you should show these in, too.

Re: pics from annual OLD SCHOOL 3 day camping and 4x4 trip
I hope you will have me when I retire and move to Black Mountain with my trucks in a few years. I always thought that a vintage 4X4 show combined with a trek up the old motor road from Black Mountain to the top of Mt. Mitchell would be a terrific activity.

Man that is great! I love your K20. I went on a camping/wheeling trip with my brother a few months back and it got me wanting a 67-72 Chevy 4x4. If I ever get one I'd love to tag along. We camped in Mortimer,NC and wheeled Richland Rd up near Boone.... looks like that might be what y'all did too?

OMG that is so cool!
Good to see you got big orange running good again. I don't think my 67 would do so well on anything larger than a speed bump Is the 55/56 a NAPCO or a modern frame/driveline?

Love that truck. Cool to see it used for what it's made for.

Now that looks like fun! Sometimes I regret working towards a slammed 2wd and wish I would have gone 4x4.
